I was born and raised in Blackpool England and immigrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in August 1979 with my husband Tom.   We have two children, now away from the family home with jobs of their own and we enjoy the company of our wonderful dog ‘Beckham’.  (Those from the UK will understand the connection with a particularly famous footballer!)

I studied photography at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology during 1997 and 1999 and having always had a passion for taking pictures, I was very excited to have the opportunity to fulfil a dream of working in the wonderful world of photography.

I moved from Calgary to Canmore, in the wonderful Rocky Mountains, in May of 2000 and have enjoyed working with couples for engagement and wedding photography as well as some outdoor portraits. The magnificent hotels in the area provide some very interesting locations for photos to perfectly compliment the outdoor pictures with the amazing mountain backdrops.

On more of the adventurous side, I have photographed heli weddings - flying up to the mountain tops of the Canadian Rockies with a bride and groom and necessary officiates – a real treat to be on ‘top of the world’ with a camera in my hand.

I work with many interesting and talented wedding service providers in the area: Wedding Planners, Marriage Commissioners, Videographers, Limousine Services, Florists, Bakers etc. The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Emerald Lake Lodge, Buffalo Mountain Lodge, Kananaskis Country and Canmore are just some of the wonderful locations I have used. The love I have for the mountains and photography shows in my work.
